I initially thought of spending the new year updating the blog after spending the week travelling to Kota Bharu Kelantan that will be chronicled later when I catch my wind. It is rare for both the Islam and Julian Calendar to celebrate the New Year closely together so I take this opportunity to wish my readers A prosperous and Wonderful year ahead. Though storm clouds may be gathering on the economic front but do remember that on top of everything else, it is what you do that counts and the things in life will take care of themselves. It is definitely not the end of the world yet.
" When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,And the earth throws up her burdens (from within),
And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'-
On that Day will she declare her tidings:
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration.
On that Day will men proceed in companies sorted out, to be shown the deeds that they (had done).
Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it!
And anyone who has done an atom's weight of evil, shall see it. " (Qur'an 99:1-8)
